My name is Alexa Fuentes, and I hold a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Studies from a CACREP-accredited institution. As a national certified counselor with my associate license in professional counseling, I work under the supervision of Jackeline Hurtado, MEd, LPC-S. My focus lies in assisting children, adolescents, and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
Employing a person-centered and strengths-based approach, I aid clients in developing effective coping strategies, enhancing self-awareness, and fostering resilience. I am deeply committed to ongoing professional development, regularly attending workshops to stay informed about the latest advancements in counseling practices.
A fun fact about me is that I share my home with two dogs and two cats.
It is my privilege to accompany individuals on their journey toward healing, growth, and well-being. I am dedicated to making a positive impact and helping clients achieve lasting change in their lives.
