My name is Marona Williams. I am a dedicated Counselor-in-training at the Texas Counseling Center in Pearland, diligently honing my skills under the expert supervision of Cynthia L. Rojas, LPC. I am currently pursuing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Houston Christian University, a testament to my unwavering commitment to your well-being. I also hold a master’s in human services and a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
I am originally from Cairo, IL, but I reside in Pearland, Texas. I am a 17-year Navy Veteran. In my personal life, I enjoy reading, listening to music, writing, being creative, and spending time with family and friends.
My approach to counseling is rooted in the belief that every individual is unique and has a story to tell. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can share your experiences and feelings. I see my role as a counselor not just as a guide, but as a partner, ready to understand and support you on your journey.
Life is a series of seasons, each with its challenges and triumphs. Sometimes, we find ourselves in a season where we need the support and guidance of someone outside of ourselves. In these moments, I see myself as a counselor and a reliable partner, ready to walk, jog, or run alongside you.
As your therapist and teammate, I’m here to encourage, understand, and provide the tools you need to thrive in this stage of life. We’ll create an alliance prioritizing your well-being, fulfillment, and progress.
