Hello! I’m Jasmine Greenhouse, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) at Texas Counseling Center, under the supervision of LaQuondra Patterson-Levias, LPC-S. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sam Houston State University and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.
Before becoming a counselor, I spent 8 years as a public school educator, which greatly shaped my therapeutic approach. I incorporate a variety of techniques, including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychoeducational Therapy, and play therapy, to best support each client’s unique needs.
I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, one that recognizes the deep connection between the mind, body, and spirit. This perspective allows me to address the whole person and customize treatment to promote healing and growth across all areas of life.
As a compassionate therapist, my goal is to guide children, teens, young adults, and families through life’s challenges. I specialize in helping individuals navigate issues such as low self-esteem, bullying, academic stress, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, relationship struggles, grief, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and practical tools to help clients build resilience and find balance.
I proudly work with clients from all backgrounds, including individuals of all races, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities, as well as those from marginalized communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals.
I look forward to being a part of your journey as you work toward becoming the best version of yourself!
