Hello, my name is Tiffany McGregor, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate at the Texas Counseling Center’s Woodlands location, under the supervision of Sylvia Boyd, LPC-S. I am a proud Spring, Texas native. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2010. Since then, I have completed two Master’s degrees—one in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University, and another in Professional School Counseling from Houston Christian University.

As a therapist at Texas Counseling Center, I am committed to creating a supportive, client-centered space where healing and growth can take root. My approach is rooted in Carl Rogers’ humanistic philosophy, valuing authenticity, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to offer clients both a compassionate presence and practical, actionable strategies for change. I am also a trauma-informed therapist, understanding the profound impact that past experiences can have on an individual’s present and future, and ensuring every session prioritizes emotional safety, trust, and empowerment.

Before transitioning into private practice, I served as a school counselor for three years, working closely with students, families, and educational teams to support emotional wellness and resilience. This experience has shaped my belief that growth is possible at every stage of life and deepened my passion for working with a diverse range of clients.

My extensive training and experience enables me to work effectively with children, couples, and families. I offer family therapy to strengthen relationships and improve communication, play therapy for children to help them express and process emotions in a developmentally appropriate way, and couples counseling, including marital and pre-engagement therapy, to foster stronger, healthier partnerships.

When you decide to collaborate with me, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental environment where your experiences are honored and your strengths are celebrated. Together, we will focus on building practical tools for change while exploring deeper patterns and insights that contribute to lasting healing. My ultimate goal is to deepen your understanding of yourself, empower you to reshape the narrative of your life, and support you in achieving the growth and transformation you envision. I welcome individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds and am honored to walk alongside each client on their unique path toward healing and fulfillment.

Fun Facts:
  • I enjoy relaxing, reading, and spending time at the beach. Peacefulness is super important in my life, and I hope to help my client’s experience that same peacefulness after working with me.
  • I have been with my husband since 2011, we have been happily married with two daughters since 2013, and we have also lived in the Woodlands, Texas since 2020.
  • We have three dogs: a Maltipoo, Great Dane, and a mix of Rottweiler/Chihuahua. They are the treasure of our lives!
