Hello, I’m Anna Nguyen, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) at Texas Counseling Center in Pearland, supervised by Jackeline Hurtado, LPC-S. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston–Clear Lake.
I believe therapy should feel like a safe, respectful space where you are truly seen and heard. As a first generation American, I deeply value multicultural awareness and understand how culture, identity, family expectations, and lived experiences shape the way we view ourselves and the world. I welcome individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds and religious affiliations, and I honor your values, beliefs, and unique worldview throughout the therapeutic process.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I meet you where you are without judgment and work alongside you to increase self-awareness, support healing, and foster meaningful growth. Whether you are navigating emotional pain, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, my goal is to help you feel empowered, understood, and supported as you move toward a more fulfilling life.
I specialize in working with concerns such as trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, anger, ADHD, mood disorders, attachment issues, and relationship difficulties. I also have experience supporting clients through life transitions, separation and divorce, self-esteem challenges, identity exploration, and mid-life concerns. I understand that healing is not linear it is a personal journey of learning, unlearning, and rediscovering yourself and I am here to walk with you through that process at your pace.
My therapeutic style is holistic and integrative, drawing from evidence-based approaches including Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Attachment-Based Therapy. Treatment is always tailored to your specific needs, goals, and circumstances, because no two people or journeys are the same.
Areas of Focus Include:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Attachment Styles
- Relationship Issues
- Narcissistic Abuse
- Trauma & PTSD
- Somatic Disorder
- Life transitions and adjustments
If you are seeking a therapist who will listen with empathy, respect your autonomy, and support you in creating meaningful change, I would be honored to work with you.
