Hello, my name is Aishuang Daisy Xu. I am a counselor in training at the Texas Counseling Center in Sugar Land and under the supervision of Cynthia L. Rojas, M.A., LPC.
Life can feel like a leaf caught in the wind drifting aimlessly, uncertain of where it will land. As a counselor, my goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can be yourself while entrusting me with your story.
I believe counseling is a collaborative process where we journey together to explore, process, heal, and grow. Through this process, I aim to empower you to connect with your inner strengths, cultivate resilience, achieve your goals, and thrive in your life. I am honored to co-journey with you.
I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families, for those facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, identity exploration, self-esteem concerns, and trauma.
Since 2013, I have been working with students from around the world on university campuses. This experience has given me the privilege of working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, beliefs, and values. My cross-cultural background also has given me a passion for working with immigrants, immigrant children, and international students.
I am fluent in both English and Chinese.
