Hello, my name is Tiffany Register, and I am a Counselor in Training at Texas Counseling Center Sugar Land under the supervision of Bonnie Simien, LPC, at Texas Counseling Center. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Houston Christian University.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Florida, I have always found renewal and peace near the water. The beach remains my personal place of reflection and grounding. That sense of calm and restoration is something I hope to help others experience in their own lives.
Throughout my professional journey, I have been drawn to roles centered on supporting growth and resilience. I have experience working in residential treatment facilities with adolescents from diverse backgrounds, where I facilitated coping skills development and life skills training. I have also worked with adults in career planning and case management, helping them navigate complex life transitions and challenges.
These experiences have shaped my counseling approach, which is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused principles. I believe in helping individuals recognize their strengths, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and move toward meaningful, achievable goals.
I believe each person has inherent worth and a unique purpose. While life can present unexpected hardships, no one has to face those challenges alone. Seeking support is a courageous first step, and I look forward to walking alongside clients as they move toward healing, clarity, and growth.
Congratulations on taking the first step toward positive change.
