Hello, my name is Leria Beverly. I am a Counselor-in-Training at the Texas Counseling Center in Sugar Land, working under the supervision of Jhoanie Romero, LPC. I am currently in my second year of the Master of Arts in Professional Counseling program at Angelo State University, where I maintain a 4.0 GPA. I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
Since my early adulthood, I have been passionate about working in the mental health field. I believe mental health is essential for achieving a better quality of life and fostering a more functional society. My current focus is on exploring diverse areas within the field to develop a well-rounded perspective and refine my professional identity. My background in Sociology has provided me with the tools to be culturally and socially aware, empathetic, and deeply attuned to the unique experiences of others.
I am dedicated to continually learning and applying therapeutic techniques that empower individuals to navigate the complexities of their lives and improve their overall well-being. By striving to be the best version of myself, I can better support others in reaching their full potential.
Outside of my professional journey, I enjoy reading, exercising, watching movies, and spending quality time with my family.
