Your journey is guided by Dr. Stephen Tate, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 35 years of experience. With a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Dr. Tate offers a unique, holistic approach that honors both your mental health and spiritual values.
Dr. Tate believes in ethical, affordable care. He operates as a "Gatekeeper," ensuring you never pay for a test you don't actually need.
Our Testing Process
We know psychological testing can feel overwhelming and expensive. We have streamlined our process to be transparent, cost-effective, and supportive. The "Gatekeeper" Clinical Interview
We start with a thorough intake session with Dr. Tate, including a family tree (genogram) analysis. This is our most important step. Dr. Tate determines exactly which tests are necessary—and which are not—potentially saving you hundreds of dollars in unnecessary fees.
The Testing Day
In a comfortable, supportive environment, we administer the selected standardized instruments (such as the WAIS-IV or WJ-IV). We ensure the pacing helps the examinee feel at ease to perform their best.
Feedback & Roadmap
Once the results are analyzed, we sit down with you to review the full report. We don't just hand you data; we provide a clear explanation and a practical roadmap for next steps, including therapy recommendations or school advocacy.
