Hello! My name is Viviane Lock, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) by the NBCC. I earned my Mental Health Counseling Certification and Master’s degree in School Counseling from Lamar University.
My role as a therapist is centered on offering genuine support and understanding to clients as they move through their unique personal journeys. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels safe, nurturing, and open—a space where healing and self-discovery can take place. I believe therapy works best as a collaborative process where we explore emotions, experiences, and thoughts together in order to support growth and meaningful change.
I enjoy helping clients connect with their strengths, values, and goals. During our therapy sessions, I incorporate a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs. These approaches include:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Person-Centered Therapy
Through these techniques, we work on developing effective coping strategies, exploring both current and past thinking patterns, and learning practical skills to help address challenges.
I currently work with adults (18+), and I have a strong interest in supporting clients dealing with:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Life transitions
- Trauma
- Parenting
I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and I value creating a culturally sensitive space where all clients feel welcome and understood.
In my free time, I enjoy running, listening to audiobooks, and spending quality time with my family.
Thank you for considering me as a part of your journey. I would be honored to support you in your pursuit of positive change and mental wellness.
