Ilana Hilton

Hello, my name is Ilana Hilton, and I am a Licensed Psychological Associate with Independent Practice (LPA-IP) at Texas Counseling Center in Katy. I have always been passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families. I began my career providing behavioral skills training to children and adolescents in foster care while helping families connect to community resources. That experience shaped my trauma-informed approach and continues to influence the way I work with clients today.

In private practice, I specialize in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. While I have experience evaluating individuals across the lifespan, my primary area of expertise is assessing neurodevelopmental disorders. I have extensive experience evaluating and diagnosing autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and intellectual disabilities. I believe every individual deserves to feel seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a supportive environment where clients and families feel empowered to share their experiences. I provide thorough, evidence-based evaluations by gathering comprehensive background information, collaborating with caregivers and other providers, and ensuring continuity of care throughout the assessment process.

I view the evaluation process as a collaborative partnership. From the initial consultation through the feedback session, I work closely with each client and family to answer questions, provide meaningful recommendations, and help them better understand their strengths and areas of need. When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my loved ones. As a Houston native, I am deeply committed to serving my community and helping individuals and families find the answers and support they need to thrive.
