My name is Sarai Quinteros, and I am an LPC Associate at Texas Counseling Center in Sugar Land. I will be under the supervision of Jackeline Hurtado, LPC, LPC-S, MEd.
Some events have occurred in our lives that we wish we never had to go through. Whether that is a traumatic experience or any other event, those experiences are enough to impact and follow us for the rest of our lives. From my personal experiences, I have come to understand the importance and impact that mental health has on our physical and emotional well-being and life in general. My passion for helping others through complex situations played a part in my decision to become a professional counselor. If you are having trouble dealing with trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, or any other type of issue, feel free to give me a call. I am available for you and your needs, and together, we’ll help you become your best self and live a healthier life. If you and a family member or partner are interested in coming to see me, please schedule a visit.
The therapeutic approaches I use are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT).
I have worked and will continue to work with adolescents, young adults, older adults, and couples at Texas Counseling Center.
In my personal life, I find joy in cooking and baking, traveling, meditating, catching up on my favorite television shows and movies, spending time with family and friends, and learning about new things. Fun fact! I can play the clarinet and bass guitar.
I anticipate speaking with you and helping you become your best self!
